The Way of St. James pilgrimage route
Pilgrimages on the Way of St. James are more popular than they have been in a long time. These days, thousands walk the ancient paths every year and return captivated. In the Palatinate region, you can experience this phenomenon – quite literally – as well over 100 kilometers of pilgrimage routes lead through the area.
There are two hiking trails that can be traveled on foot or by bicycle. They both start in Speyer and end at Hornbach Monastery.
